Kinetix - 2016

Kinetix est the 3rd vehicle made by EPSA and its partners for the Formula Student.

The conception of the car began in September 2015 so that Kinetix was able to ride in April 2016.

EPSA added a differential gear out of the frame, a new electronic architecture and air-shocks.

Kinetix took part in the Formula Student Italy in July 2016 and finished 23rd out of 38 vehicles.

Frame: Tubular made of steel (High elastic limit steel 25CD4S)

Engine: Honda CBR 600 RR PC40 (2008 model) 90 hp at 11000 rpm, 60 Nm at 10000 rpm

Gear shifting: Electric with steering wheel control, direct drive by brushless engine

Differential: Limited slip with disc Drexler

Grounding liaison: Double triangulation with steel tubes

Tyres: Hoosier 10 inches, mono-nut rims

Monitoring system, data acquisition: Electronic cards home-made by Cirly

Car body: Composite with 3 main pieces and plates at the front
